This weekend Heidi and I went to Zurich and spent the weekend with her sister and co: Maria, Kyle and baby Johanna. Heidi and I took a 5 hour train to get there. It was beautiful, winding through the alps of Austria, Deutschland and Switzerland. We got to Zurich around midnight, took a quick street tram and a short walk, found the key under the mat and 4 flights of stairs later we were at the lovely apartment/flat that had been rented out to the group for the weekend.
The next two days consisted of the following:
•a cute little automatic expresso machine •an extra cute 1 year old girl •grocery shopping •home cooked delicious meals •picnics along the river (at a bus stop) •picnics along the lake •walking •wandering •swimming in the lake! •watching a cute baby be cute •observe our language barrier •solve world hunger (tell no one) •enjoy the city •window shop •spot cars worth more than— a lot of stuff •push a stroller •more great food, cooked by ourselves •the toilet paper had daisies on it •pocket coffee (chocolate with liquid espresso center!!) •baby Johanna is seriously so adorable •more exploring of the city •great weather •great people •great weekend!
